Lisa Bormann’s paintings are done from life, not photographs, primarily in oil and pastel. Focusing on comtemporary figure painting, she also spends several months a year painting landscapes on site, particularly on Lake Superior and along the Mississipi river valley.

The mediums are oil on canvas or pastel on paper. Pieces can be bought framed or unframed. Prices range from $750 for small landscapes up to $20,000 for large figure pieces.
